"I have had the privilege of being part of the Sunny Bay Pharmacy family for almost 2 years. I volunteered here for 1.5 years, and recently became employed. I have been a licensed pharmacy tech for 16 years. I have both in-patient and out-patient experience. I worked for Target pharmacy, where I met Bob, 12 years ago. I also worked for LASD filling prescriptions and IVs for inmates in the county jail and medical ward. I was part of the professional staff with the Sheriff's Department before transferring over to Custody and becoming a jailer. As luck would have it, 8 years later I found myself back in the pharmacy working with this wonderful staff and boss. What I enjoy the most about working for Sunny Bay is the camaraderie amongst the staff. They’ve allowed me to be part of the family. I've also had the opportunity to meet great patients. The difference between our pharmacy and other pharmacies that I've worked at is the family-oriented relationships we have with our patients....more
"I started working at Sunny Bay Pharmacy in January 2014. I had previous experience working at Sunny Bay Pharmacy because I did my externship hours here when I was a student. At first, I didn't know if I could make it as a tech, but then I was hired, and now it's almost been a year since I started! What I enjoy about working at Sunny Bay Pharmacy is that everyone is so friendly. I feel like we are all family, and I enjoy the fact that we can joke around with each other and not have to be too serious all the time. I think Bob is an awesome boss, one of the nicest I've ever met. In my free time, I like to play sports, go to the park with my kids, or go on walks."more
